How to choose the right chain ?
Three types of chains are available for the Fortuna medal:
Filed cable chain : The maillons are more angular, which makes the chain more shiny.
Round cable chain : The maillons are round, which makes the chain very soft.
Twisted chain: A golden braid that sublimates your medal. A resolutely jewellery chain. Note that it is a more fragile chain because the links that make it up are thinner.
To choose the length of your chain, you can use the sketch below. If you're giving the jewel as a gift, we recommend you choose 45 cm, the length that suits most women. If you're putting this medal on one of your chains, make sure that the weight of your chain is at least equal to the weight of the medal.
Taking care of your medal
We advise you to store your jewelry separately to avoid scratching it, and not to sleep in it. In everyday life, take care of your jewelry by protecting it from toxic substances such as perfume, creams, chlorine, etc. When you fasten your necklace, make sure the clasp is securely fastened. We recommend removing them for sports and manual activities. Medals are smooth, so take care not to wear them with jewelry that could scratch them directly. Avoid wearing them with a pendant of the same length, but rather staggered. The weight of your chain should always be at least equal to the weight of your pendant. We advise you not to wear several pendants on the same chain, if the weight of the chain is not appropriate. Our jewels like to be pampered, so take good care of them so that they last as long as possible. Find all our advice here.
