Custom-made jewelry is created in several stages, to ensure that it matches your expectations as closely as possible. Our aim is to create the jewel of your dreams, a piece that will live by your side and have great meaning.
According to your wishes, you can choose to create a ring from your family stones or from stones that we have sourced. You will then choose the materials that make up this creation, among those most used in jewellery,yellow, rose or whitegold 750/1000 or platinum 950/1000. Then the process of creation will take place to give birth step by step to the ring of your dreams.
Family stones
It is possible to create your own bespoke ring from your family stones. Poinçon 22 knows that gemstones often have sentimental value and can be passed down from generation to generation. The materials
Through its collections Poinçon 22 adorns you with 18K yellow, rose, white gold and even platinum. We can therefore offer you these materials for the creation of your custom-made jewellery.
18K gold carats, symbol of purity and majesty, has been an essential part of jewellery since the dawn of time.Yellow gold is appreciated for its colour which makes you shine without ever tarnishing. Poinçon 22 has chosen a particular alloy to make rose gold softer, we recommend it if you want a discreet ring.White gold 18 carats is a metal that will shine like a mirror on your skin.
Platinum 950/1000 is a popular metal for engagement rings, as it does not tarnish over time. Platinum is also a hypoallergenic metal, ideal for sensitive skin.
The realization
Defining the ring of your dreams
The creation of your bespoke ring begins with a meeting, either in our Paris showroom or by video if you live far away. This first meeting will enable us to define your desires and see the possibilities for creation.
You'll have the opportunity to bring us your family stones, or to tell us what stones you'd like to see in this ring, and we'll do everything we can to find them. This meeting will also be an opportunity for you to tell us the story behind the ring, so that we can convey it in our creation. This first meeting will lead to a quotation.
The designer will be at your side to advise you and to make the first sketches of your future ring, and this is when the adventure begins.

The resin of a made-to-measure engagement ring
Modeling
Your jewel will first be created in 3D, so that you can have a first glimpse of your piece. This initial modeling will enable us to make the first adjustments to the stones and the shape of the jewel.
Next, it will be made in resin, as you can see in this photo. This extra step allows us to fine-tune the final details, and gives you the chance to see the ring's volume in real life.
Once these steps have been validated, the shape and size of your made-to-measure jewel will be determined. We'll then pass on all the information to our partner jewelers to begin creating your ring.
Creation
We work in close collaboration with artisan jewelers to ensure the highest quality craftsmanship. The magic of their hands brings your unique creation to life. For each bespoke ring, we go back and forth with them so that we can follow its creation and ensure that the jewel meets your expectations.
Based on the 3D drawing and the resin, the workshop manager will choose the technique to be used to create your ring. The metal(s) you have selected will be melted from a mold or laser-cut, depending on the shape. The formed ring will then pass through the hands of other jewelers who will engrave it, set it with precious stones, polish it and finally punch it. All these steps are carried out with expertise and passion.
