COMMITMENTS POINÇON 22

No one is perfect, but every day Poinçon 22 strives to do a little more for you and for the planet. Committed to our missions, respectful of ancestral know-how and materials, our values are wide-ranging, enabling us to offer you jewelry that is contemporary, desirable and respectful. Thanks to your support and that of our partners, together we can make a difference, step by step, while continuing to make you dream. Combining the soul of jewellery with the new challenges of eco-responsibility, we are committed to respecting these values.

manifesto

"Poinçon 22 was born of a desire to dust off jewelry classics by bringing modernity, timelessness and complicity to them. We want to create something for every woman, whatever her age or style, and for every occasion. By creating jewelry that reflects your personality, we also want to share our passion for jewelry with you.

Through timeless, customizable creations, you can play with your jewelry, compose, engrave and adjust it to suit you.

What makes me happy? Knowing that we've been able to create a piece of jewelry in your image, that can be passed on."

- Jessica, creator of Poinçon 22

OUR COMMITMENT TO JEWELLERY

Craftsmanship and family know-how

  • Poinçon 22 jewelry is handcrafted by our partner jewelry workshops, which are artisanal, family-run businesses. Our aim is to perpetuate ancestral jewellery-making know-how and family-run businesses.

  • The designer drew her inspiration for Poinçon 22 from these ancestral skills. Hallmarks are symbols affixed to jewelry to certify its origins: the hallmark guaranteeing 750/1000 gold and the brand hallmark.

  • A privileged relationship has been established with our workshops, which allows us to offer you innovations such as the P 22 Bangle bracelet, rigid but flexible, and jewellery in your image. This proximity allows us to offer you jewellery that is always more personalised and made-to-measure.

A love of jewellery detail

  • Alongside our partner workshops, we select the most beautiful stones and materials to sublimate you: from the alloy of rose gold, which we wanted to be very soft, to the yellow sapphire of the Sirius ring, sourced for its unique history.

  • We check every piece of jewelry as soon as it leaves our workshop. This verification step is essential to ensure that the piece created corresponds perfectly to your request initiale.

  • To share this love of detail with you, we invite you to gain a better understanding of the stones and metals we use.

more responsible consumption

  • Stones are marked by stories, some bought out of love, others given as gifts or bequeathed as heirlooms. That's why we offer to use your family stones to create made-to-measure jewelry.

  • Personalization and customization, whenever possible, allow us to create jewellery that suits you and that will follow you for a lifetime. Our priority is to bring your jewellery alive rather than forgetting it in your jewellery box.

  • Working towards more responsible consumption means learning to consume better, to buy quality pieces of jewelry that will last and that we'll want to pass on to future generations to continue their history.

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE PLANET

More responsible production

  • We work to order, with very low stocks. Why? We're against overproduction and what it leads to. Moreover, the maintenance of a stock is polluting, because it must be maintained, secured and monitored. Working to order allows us to limit these consumptions, but also to satisfy all your demands.

  • Our workshops are in France and Spain, so your jewelry travels less than 1,100 km before being picked up in our showroom.

  • The jewels leave the workshops only once a week. This reduces greenhouse gas emissions from air and road transport.

The RESPONSIBLE JEWELLERY COUNCIL

  • The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) is the leading standards and certification organization for the jewelry and watchmaking industries. Comprising more than 1,250 entities, they share a commitment to transforming the world of jewelry into a fairer and more caring industry.

  • As Poinçon 22 's partner workshops are members of the RJC, we can certify that the precious metals and stones we use for our jewelry are produced with respect for human rights and have not promoted child labour or slavery, and that their extraction has not harmed our environment. What's more, we can also guarantee that this production has not given rise to criminal or terrorist activities.

  • Their aim is to create a responsible global supply chain that fosters trust in the jewelry and watchmaking industry.

OUR COMMITMENT TO WOMEN

Less is more Poinçon 22

Pink October

  • The woman is the greatest source of inspiration for the creator, so we want to support her in every moment of her life. We are committed, at your side for Pink October since 2018, to help breast cancer research at the Institut Curie.

  • Why the Institut Curie? Because it's a leading player in the fight against cancer, combining an internationally renowned research center with a state-of-the-art hospital complex that treats all cancers, including the rarest.

  • Don't forget that even outside this month, breast cancer is a disease that affects many women. We're all concerned, so tell everyone about it!

HINDBAG

  • We chose Hindbag because this French brand, specialized in the manufacture of ethical and organic textiles, collaborates with an Indian NGO: the Swami Sivananda Memorial Institute (SSMI) committed to the emancipation of women from a poor district of Delhi. The women of this institute make textile products, with access to training and a salary of up to 3 times the Indian minimum wage as compensation. These women are paid what they are worth, and for the quality of their work. In addition, the NGO is committed to placing their children in schools.

  •  The role of women is crucial for both Hindbag and Poinçon 22. By working alongside them, we are contributing to the emancipation and empowerment of women in India.

  • Whether you're a company or an individual, you can take part in this project through an extended collection of products, or by making a donation directly on the Hindbag website.
