HOW TO WEAR MY JEWELRY

Wear your jewellery according to your activities: Avoid wearing them when doing sports and manual activities.

Medals are smooth, so take care not to wear them with jewelry that could scratch them directly. Avoid wearing them with a pendant of the same length, but rather offset.

The weight of your chain should always be at least equal to the weight of your pendant. We advise you not to combine several pendants on the same chain, if the weight of the chain is not appropriate.

PRECAUTIONS

When fastening your necklace or bracelet, make sure the clasp is securely fastened.

To make sure your earring is securely attached, you should hear a "click" and feel a little pressure.

For rings with center stones, you can lightly tap the top of the stone with a finger. If you hear a little noise, it may be that a fastener is loose.

We advise you to store your jewellery separately to avoid scratching each other. When you are not wearing them, store your jewellery in its Poinçon 22 case.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter any problems.

TOXIC PRODUCTS

In everyday life, take care of your jewelry by protecting it from toxic substances such as perfume, creams, chlorine, etc. These products can damage certain materials and stones.

Mother-of-pearl is an organic material whose color can be altered by water and toxic products. We therefore invite you to be doubly careful with your mother-of-pearl jewelry.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR JEWELLERY

If you wish to wash your jewelry, we strongly advise you to clean it with a soft, clean cloth suitable for 18K gold jewelry. Be careful not to use any accessory, cloth, or tool, you will risk scratching and damaging your jewelry (a handkerchief creates scratches).

Over time, an engraving or a stone can accumulate dirt, so a lukewarm soapy bath is recommended to thoroughly clean the jewel. Mother-of-pearl, emeralds and certain stones cannot be cleaned in this way, as it may damage them.

We do not recommend bathing all the jewels in the Nuances collection.

Poinçon 22 declines all responsibility for the maintenance of your jewels carried out by you.

untangling a gold chain

Place your tangled gold chain on a flat surface and thread two needles through the knot. Pull gently to prevent the knot from becoming larger and the chain from breaking.

If this method doesn't work, pour a little olive oil, talcum powder or water mixed with Marseille soap before rubbing your chain between your hands. You can also use the needle technique if this method doesn't work on its own. Remember to clean your chain after these steps by soaking it in a container of soapy water, then rinsing it under lukewarm water.

These methods can also be used for several chains mixed together. However, be sure to open the clasps first.
