About
Three types of 750/1000 gold chains are offered by Poinçon 22 to wear your medals:
Forçat limée: maillons are more angular, making the chain shinier.
Round cable chain : The maillons are round, which makes the chain very soft.
Twisted chain: A gold braid that enhances your medal. Note that this is a more delicate chain because the maillons that compose it are finer. A resolutely jewelled chain.
Weight
To choose the right chain for your medal, make sure that the weight of the chain is at least equal to the weight of the medal. If the medal is heavier, the chain may break. We therefore advise you to take into account the weight of the medal to ensure that the chain you choose is the most suitable.
Thickness
The photos show the thinnest chains of each type. If you choose the thicker chains, they will have the same shape as those in the photos, but a larger diameter.
Length
To choose the length of your chain, you can use the sketch below. If you offer the jewellery, we advise you to choose 45 cm, this is the length that suits most women.
