This stone belongs to the garnet family, which is made up of a multitude of stones. Its green sparkle and crystalline transparency set it apart from the rest, which is why it's often called the "Queen of Garnets". Despite its rarity, this gemstone is highly prized in jewelry for its transparency, accentuated by its green nuances .
