On the occasion of the launch of her new capsule, Aurélie did us the honor of confiding in Poinçon 22 to let us discover her world through 22 questions.
Itry to create innovative and surprising collections, inspired by vintage icons. Each piece tells a story and I hope the collections provoke a positive emotion.

Aries
What's your favorite food?
Thai soup. "Xia long bao" Chinese dumplings.
Your most beautiful trip?
It lasted 4 years ... We lived and worked in China with my husband and our children, and had the chance to travel all over Asia whenever we could.
Your music of the moment?
"A tu veras" by Lola Flores.
City or country?
In between, I need air and space to recharge my batteries, but not too far from the city, as I don't like to feel isolated.

The must-have item in your dressing room?
Real cowboy boots, a fringed jacket and a Gipsy Maurice dress in lace, of course.
Bag or tote?
I'm a big fan of baskets, I like to wear them in winter to feel like summer all year round :). I'm not an IT bag, I get bored very quickly, I'm not very logo, if I have to put a budget, I choose it in jewelry without hesitation.
Which Poinçon 22 jewel do you like best?
In fact, there are several, but I'll mention just two. I love the little red hearts like candy, so the Nuances cornelian heart bracelet, but THE PIECE is the Alphabet signet ring in yellow gold, which is sublime.
Team jewelry, discreet or imposing?
I love accumulation, mixing the very beautiful with quality costume jewelry.
Which gold color do you prefer?
Yellow gold andwhite gold are making a comeback, to be mixed with silver. But I can't mix the two colors together.
A piece of jewelry you wear every day?
A stone bequeathed to me by my mother from my grandmother, and I feel naked without my big rings on all my fingers.

Collector's item - Timeless - Creative signature - Made in France without compromise - The warmth of the south all year round.
Why Gipsy Maurice?
Gipsy was my uncle and grandfather's French knitwear brand. It's funny that they chose this name at the time, as it was a very classic brand. Maurice is the first name of my great-grandfather, a textile industrialist from the North of France. So I'm carrying on the legacy.
Have you always wanted to create your own brand?
Yes and no, I've been a stylist for years, working for several brands where I've met some wonderful people, and it's enabled me to travel. In fact, this isn't the first brand I've created, but it's the most accomplished. I launched a brand of newborn baby clothes with a friend called "Ma belle époque" and a line of silk kimonos 10 years ago. When I couldn't find what I was looking for on the market that combined responsibility and fashion, I took the plunge.
What inspires you?
Oh, there's so much! Looks from the 60s, 70s, 80s and the women around me, rock, funk, the street and travel. I try to create innovative and surprising collections, inspired by vintage icons. Each piece tells a story and I hope the collections provoke a positive emotion.
Blouses or knitwear?
Blouses.
The piece you're most proud of?
The TIGRE jacket in velvet and the singular lace pieces.

This is the basis of the Gipsy Maurice brand values: no compromise, no green washing, otherwise there's no point. It's a desirable, responsible collection in limited editions.
What do you think will be the fashion trend of 2024?
Influence 60 - 70 of course.
What's your favorite look from your new capsule?
The Poem Blanche dress in Calais Caudry lace. Like the way I wear my jewelry, I like to rock it Lou Doillon-style, white lace can be worn and (re)worn, it's not just for brides. Have fun mixing and matching our Gipsy Maurice pieces. Poinçon 22.
